[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] ‘2023 경남고성공룡엑스포’가 22일부터 10월 29일까지 38일간 ‘상상 그 이상의 공룡세계’을 주제로 당항포관광지에서 열린다.
주간에는 공룡 행진을 비롯한 다양한 공연 및 전시 콘텐츠를 관람할 수 있으며 매주 금요일과 토요일 그리고 10월 2일과 9일에는 오후 10시까지 형형색색의 경관조명으로 물든 엑스포 행사장에서 야간관람이 가능하다.
엑스포 기간 중 맞이하게 되는 추석부터 이어지는 6일간의 연휴에도 쉬는 날 없이 공룡엑스포를 관람할 수 있다.
조직위원장인 이상근 군수는 “3년 연속 개최되는 공룡엑스포에서 남녀노소 모두 즐거운 추억을 안고 가셨으면 한다”며 “6일간의 추석 연휴에도 공룡엑스포를 휴무 없이 관람하실 수 있으니 가족들과 고향 방문하시고 엑스포도 방문해 주시길 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
한편 지역 대표축제로 자리매김한 공룡엑스포는 2006년 국내 최초 자연사 엑스포로 시작해 고성에서 6번의 엑스포를 진행하는 동안 750만명 이상의 관람객이 다녀갔고 2023년 7월부터 8월까지 수도권에서는 ‘찾아가는 공룡엑스포 in 일산’을 진행했다.
