브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 고속도로휴게소, 버스터미널 등 다중이용시설들의 식품위생법 위반이 크게 증가한 것으로 나타났다.
30일 김원이 더불어민주당 의원이 식품의약품안전처로부터 제출받은 ‘최근 3년간 다중이용시설 식품위생법 위반현황’ 자료에 따르면 2020년부터 2022년까지 최근 3년간 다중이용시설 내 식품업체들의 식품위생법 위반이 총 135건 발생했다.
위반 건수는 2020년에 33건에서 2022년 60건으로 2배가량 증가했다.
다중이용시설 유형별로는 버스터미널이 64건(47.4%)으로 전체 위반 건수 중 절반을 자치했으며, 기차역 30건(22.2%), 고속도로휴게소 29건(21.5%), 공항터미널 12건(8.9%)의 순이었다.
고속도로휴게소의 경우 2020년 4건에서 2022년 23건으로 약 6배(5.75배) 급증했으며, 버스터미널은 2020년 15건에서 2022년 28건으로 약 2배(1.87배) 증가했다.
위반 사유별로는 기준 및 규격 위반이 총 41건(30.4%) 발생해 10건 중 3건에 해당했다. 위생교육 미이수가 31건(23.0%), 위생적 취급기준 위반이 25건(18.5%), 영업변경신고 위반이 16건(11.9%) 등 다양한 위반행위가 발생했다.
지역별로는 경기가 36건(26.7%)으로 가장 많았으며, 서울이 18건(13.3%), 부산과 인천이 각 15건(11.1%) 발생했다.
이어 충남 12건(8.9%), 전북 9건(6.7%) 등 그 뒤를 이었다. 특히 경기 지역의 위반 건수가 2020년 8건에서 2022년 19건으로 3년 사이에 2배 이상 크게 늘었다.
이에 김원이 의원은 “코로나19 거리두기 등으로 잠잠했던 다중이용시설 내 업체들의 식품위생 위반이 급증하고 있다”며, “코로나19 종식 후 첫 추석 명절을 앞두고 많은 사람들이 휴게소, 터미널 등에서 식품 섭취가 증가할 것으로 예상되므로, 이에 식약처가 선제적으로 업체들의 위생 관리 및 감독 등에 대한 대책 마련이 필요하다”고 밝혔다.
