브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 연간 1억원 넘는 소득자가 143만명으로 집계된 가운데 이들 중 면세자 인원 역시 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.
1일 진선미 더불어민주당 의원이 국세청으로부터 제출 받은 자료에 따르면 2021년 기준 소득자 총 2535만9367명 중 1억원이 넘는 통합소득(근로+종합소득)을 올린 인원은 142만6531명으로 집계됐다.
이는 1년 전에 비해 23만2468명 늘어난 것으로, 전체소득자에서 차지하는 비중 또한 4.9%에서 5.6%으로 증가했다.
또한 10억원 넘는 통합소득자는 1만4041명으로 2020년의 1만2239명에 비해 1802명이 늘었다.
아울러 1억원이 넘는 소득자 중 결정세액이 0원인 면세자는 2021년 6221명으로, 20년 5527명에 비해 694명 더 많아졌다.
같은 해 10억원 넘는 소득자 중 면세자도 47명인 것으로 나타났다. 전년도의 소득 1억원 초과자 20명에서 2.4배 증가한 규모다.
전체 소득구간의 면세자 비중은 줄어들고 있었으나 1억원 이상 소득자 중 면세자 수는 늘어나고 있는 추세인 것이다.
이에 진선미 의원은 “전체 면세자의 비중은 줄어들고 있으나 고소득자 면세자 인원이 늘어나고 있는 상황이다”며 “소득자에 대한 공제 규모 실태 검증을 강화하고 민생에 부담을 주지 않는 선에서 면세자 자연감소를 점진적으로 실현시키는 국민소득 증대 정책이 필요하다”고 강조했다.
