‘2023 Gyeonggi-do Yangju Byeolsandaenori Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival’ held

[Break News Yangju = Reporter Kim Wan-young] Yangju-si, Gyeonggi-do (Mayor Kang Soo-hyun) will hold the 2023 Gyeonggi-do Intangible Cultural Heritage Grand Festival (subtitle: Gyeonggi-do Intangible Cultural Heritage, Celebrating a Thousand Years), where Gyeonggi-do's intangible cultural assets will gather in one place, from the 13th (Fri) to the 15th. It was announced on the 6th that it will be held at Yangju Byeolsandae Playground until Sunday.
This event, hosted by Gyeonggi Province and organized by Yangju City and the Gyeonggi Intangible Cultural Heritage Association, will feature exhibitions, performances, and experience events of 70 types of intangible cultural properties of Gyeonggi Province that continue the entertainment and functions of our traditional cultural heritage.
Performances of 30 types of intangible cultural assets in the entertainment field will be held at the Yangju Byeolsandae Playground performance hall, and work exhibitions and skill demonstrations and demonstrations by craftsmen in 40 types of skills will be held for free at the Byeolsandae Playground exhibition hall and the exhibition hall at the Yangju City Tourist Information Center.
In particular, performances and exhibitions of Gyeonggi-do's intangible cultural assets that Yangju City is proud of, including Yangju Sangyeowahoe Dajisori, Yangju Nongak, Saengjeonyesujae, and mother-of-pearl lacquerware (najeonjang), will also be held.
