[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 거제시는 거제식물원 내 놀이시설 ‘정글타워’가 고도화 사업를 마치고 24일부터 다시 운영을 시작했다고 밝혔다.
이번 고도화 사업으로 미끄럼틀 2종를 추가 설치했고 그간 불편했던 부분을 개선해 이용객들에게 만족스러운 체험환경을 제공하게 됐다.
이로써 정글타워는 국내 최대 대형 미끄럼틀 4종과 중형 미끄럼틀 3종, 실내 영상체험 4종을 체험할 수 있는 종합 어드벤처 시설로 도약했다.
추가 설치된 대형 미끄럼틀 ‘자이언트 스파이럴 슬라이드’는 최대 19m 높이에서 60m 길이를 활강하는 나선형과 드롭형이 결합된 미끄럼틀이며 중형급 ‘키즈 스파이럴 슬라이드’는 나선형 미끄럼틀로 신장 120cm 미만의 어린이들도 더욱더 재미있게 즐길 수 있도록 구성했다.
