KT&G 신탄진 공장이 전자담배 스틱 생산설비 3기를 증설하고 생산확대에 나섰다.
KT&G는 지난 1일 대전 신탄진공장에서 백복인 KT&G 사장 등 40여 명의 임직원이 참석한 가운데 설비확장 기념식을 가졌다.
이날 기념식에서 임직원들은 과감한 성장투자와 기술혁신으로 NGP 사업을 ‘글로벌 톱 티어 플레이어(Global Top-tier Player)’로 육성하기 위해 구성원 모두가 상호협력에 다짐한 것으로 알려졌다.
생산설비 추가 도입으로 KT&G 신탄진 NGP 공장은 총 8기의 설비를 갖추게 됐다.
또, 최대 36만 상자를 보관할 수 있는 자동화 창고도 구축해 NGP 사업 도약의 구심점을 마련했다.
KT&G는 혁신플랫폼과 글로벌 파트너십을 바탕으로 빠르게 성장하는 NGP 사업의 원활한 수요 대응을 위해 신탄진·광주공장 등 국내 제조공장을 중심으로 생산혁신 거점을 확대해나갈 계획이다.
