[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 밀양시는 상남면 소재 농업회사법인 삼경에서 수출 농가, 수출업체 등이 참여한 가운데 2023년산 밀양 단감 첫 수출을 기념하는 선적식을 했다고 3일 밝혔다.

이날 수출되는 선적물량은 8,190kg이며 수출금액은 1만 5000달러로 거송상사를 통해 필리핀으로 수출된다.

시는 이달 첫 수출을 시작으로 추가물량 협의 및 향후 수출 방안에 대해 논의할 계획이다.

밀양 단감은 당도가 높고 과즙이 풍부하며 아삭아삭한 식감으로 국내뿐만 아니라 해외 소비자들에게도 많은 사랑을 받고 있다.

과피가 단단하고 과육이 치밀해 수출 시 저장성이 높아 해외 바이어들이 찾는 수출 인기 상품이다.

수출농가의 허일행 대표는 “올해 이상기후 영향으로 수확량이 저조해 그 어느 해 보다 어려운 상황이지만 추가 수출 물량 확보 및 지속적인 수출을 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

박일호 시장은 “어려운 여건 속에서도 수출에 참여한 농가 및 업체들을 격려하고 신선 농산물 수출 시장 판로 확대를 위해 적극적인 해외 마케팅에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.
