【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국수력원자력(사장 황주호, 이하 한수원)은 지난 21일 경주 안강읍 레인보우 지역아동센터에 아동 복합문화공간인 ‘생각발전소’ 295호의 개소식을 가졌다고 22일 밝혔다.

한수원이 후원하고 초록우산이 주관하는 ‘지역아동센터 행복나눔’ 사업의 하나인 생각발전소는 지역아동센터 일부 공간을 개보수하고 기자재를 지원해 아동들을 위한 복합문화공간을 조성하는 사업이다.
한수원 ‘지역아동센터 행복나눔’ 사업은 전국 지역아동센터에 생각발전소, IT-ZONE, SAFE-ZONE 조성 및 기초학습, 경험학습을 지원하는 사업이다. 2012년부터 시행된 ‘행복더함 희망나래’사업을 2021년에 새롭게 단장해 지속하고 있다.
한수원은 올해 10곳의 생각발전소를 추가 지원할 계획이며, 이렇게 되면 총 304곳의 생각발전소가 전국 각지에서 운영될 예정이다.
한편 레인보우 지역아동센터 생각발전소는 연면적 19제곱미터 규모로, 그림 그리는 공간과 영화 상영 공간, 보드게임 공간 등을 갖추고 있다. 앞으로 이동형 모니터를 설치해 아동의 학습, 놀이, 영화관람 등 체험 활동에 활용될 예정이다.
황주호 한수원 사장은 “놀이와 학습을 동시에 할 수 있는 생각발전소를 통해 아이들의 행복한 미소가 이어지길 바란다”며, “미래세대가 꿈과 희망을 펼칠 수 있도록 다양한 사회공헌 사업을 이어갈 것”이라고 말했다.
