브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이스라엘과 팔레스타인 무장정파 하마스는 24일(현지시간)부터 4일간 일시 휴전한다고 공식 발표했다.
CNN 보도에 따르면 이스라엘과 하마스는 24일 오전 7시(한국시간 오후 2시)부터 일시 휴전이 공식 발효됐다.
양측은 이 기간동안 전투를 중단하며 하마스가 납치해간 인질 50명과 팔레스타인 수감자 150여 명을 교환할 예정이다.
이스라엘은 석방될 인질 가족에게도 이같은 사실을 미리 통보한 것으로 전해졌으며 인질 석방은 이날 오후 4시(현지시간)부터 시작될 것으로 전해졌다.
이스라엘은 또한 휴전기간동안 인도주의적 차원에서 연료와 식료품 등을 가자지구에 반입한다는 방침이다. 구호품과 연료를 가득실은 트럭 80여대가 휴전에 앞서 미리 가자지구에 진입했으며 매일 200여대의 트럭이 구호품을 실어나를 전망이다.
한편, 이스라엘방위군은 이번 휴전에 대해 "어렵지만 옳은 결정"이라면서 "전투 중단은 일시적이다. 전쟁은 아직 끝나지 않았다. 하마스가 모두 섬멸될때까지 전쟁은 계속될 것"이라고 거듭 강조했다.

Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas officially announced a four-day cease-fire starting on the 24th (local time).
According to CNN reports, a temporary ceasefire between Israel and Hamas officially took effect at 7 a.m. (2 p.m. Korean time) on the 24th.
The two sides will stop fighting during this period, exchanging 50 hostages kidnapped by Hamas and 150 Palestinian prisoners.
Israel reportedly notified the families of the hostages to be released in advance, and the release of hostages is expected to begin at 4 p.m. (local time).
Israel also plans to bring fuel and food to Gaza on a humanitarian basis during the ceasefire. More than 80 trucks full of relief and fuel entered Gaza ahead of the ceasefire, and more than 200 trucks are expected to carry relief every day.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Defense Forces said the ceasefire was "difficult but the right decision," adding, "The suspension of fighting is temporary. The war is far from over. "The war will continue until Hamas is all wiped out," he reiterated.
