브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 이랜드재단은 지난 17일 여의도 켄싱턴호텔에서 은둔형 외톨이 청소년 및 청년을 돕는 지원기관과 간담회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 협약식에는 이랜드재단 정영일 대표, 이재욱 본부장, 한국은둔형외톨지원연대 김재열 대표, 사람을 세우는 사람들 박덕명 사무국장, 광주동구상담복지센터 오상빈센터장, 세화종합사회복지관 이진안 대리 외 관계자 10명이 참석했다.
이날 간담회에서는 각계에서 모인 복지 사업 전문가들을 주축으로 은둔형 청소년 실태 및 현행 지원 체계, 기관별 솔루션 공유, 협력 방안을 모색하며 의견을 나눴다.
이랜드재단 이재욱 본부장은 “최근 국내 은둔형 청소년이 급증하고 있지만, 근본적인 해결책은 부족한 상황”이라며 “이랜드재단은 현장전문가와 함께 논의해 은둔형 청소년을 복지 사각지대로 정하고, 현장기관과 함께 해결방안을 모색하고자 간담회를 개최했다”고 말했다.
이랜드재단 정영일 대표는 “은둔형 청소년은 정서적으로나 사회적으로 가장 취약한 상황이지만, 기본적인 정보조차 파악되지 않는다는 것을 확인했다”며, “이랜드재단은 현장전문가들의 목소리를 반영해 은둔형 외톨이 문제에 효과적으로 대응할 수 있도록 온라인 사회공헌 플랫폼 ‘에브리즈’를 통해 함께 해결해 나가겠다”고 전했다.
이 외에도 이날 간담회에 참석한 복지사업 전문가들은 은둔형 청소년 및 청년 문제를 사회적 문제로 인식하고, 각계에서 협력해 지원사업을 벌이는 것이 핵심이라는 점을 공감하며 연대하기로 했다.
한편, 이랜드재단은 가정 밖 청소년, 다문화가정을 돕는 현장전문기관과 연대해 복지사업을 진행하고자 교회, 기업, 단체 등을 연결해 필요한 자원을 연계하는 온라인 사회공헌 플랫폼 에브리즈를 운영 중이다.
