브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대자동차가 역대 판매왕 등 전현직 판매 우수 카마스터들과 함께 저소득층 환아들을 돕기 위한 후원금을 조성하고, 초록우산어린이재단에 전달했다.
현대차는 지난 24일 오후 영동대로 사옥 온택트 그라운드에서 남원오 현대차 국내지원사업부장, 최진성 현대차 서대문중앙지점 영업이사, 박수봉 초록우산어린이재단 서울3지역본부장 등 주요 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 ‘저소득층 환아 의료비 지원 후원금 전달식’을 가졌다고 27일 밝혔다.
현대차는 2019년부터 판매 우수 카마스터들과 뜻을 함께하며 우리 사회 소외된 이웃들을 돕기 위한 후원금을 조성해오고 있다.
이날 전달된 후원금은 카마스터 16명의 판매수당 일부를 적립한 1000만원에 현대차가 1천만원을 추가로 적립하는 ‘매칭 그랜트 방식’으로 조성됐으며, 향후 수술비, 진료비, 약제비 등 저소득층 환아들의 질병 치료를 위한 의료비로 사용될 예정이다.
한편, 현대차는 지난해 12월에도 카마스터들과 함께 매칭 그랜트 방식으로 저소득층 환아들을 돕기 위한 2000만원의 후원금을 조성해 초록우산어린이재단에 전달한 바 있다.
현대차 관계자는 “작년에 이어 올해에도 저소득층 환아를 위한 후원금을 전달하게 되어 기쁘게 생각한다”며 “앞으로도 우리 사회의 소외된 이웃들에게 도움이 될 수 있는 다양한 나눔 활동을 지속해 나갈 것이다”고 말했다.
