브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대자동차그룹이 안전 아이디어 공모전에 접수된 우수 아이디어에 대해 시상했다.
현대차그룹은 지난 24일 서울 영등포구 현대건설 기술교육원에서 현대차그룹 기획조정실장 김걸 사장을 비롯한 그룹사 임직원 60여명이 참석한 가운데, 제3회 현대차그룹 안전 아이디어 공모전 시상식을 개최했다고 29일 밝혔다.
현대차그룹은 중대재해 발생을 예방하고 그룹 내 수평적인 안전 소통문화를 조성하기 위해 2021년부터 그룹 임직원 누구나 참여할 수 있는 안전 아이디어 공모전을 실시해 오고 있다.
공모 분야는 실행 부문 및 제안 부문이며, 부문별 최우수작에 각 1000만원 등 모든 수상작에 소정의 포상금이 수여된다.
이번 공모전에는 총 890건의 아이디어가 접수되어 실행 부문 9건, 제안 부문 9건 등 총 18건이 수상작으로 선정됐다.
실행 부문에서는 현대엔지니어링의 외벽 도장 로봇을 활용한 위험 작업 무인화 기술이 최우수상을 수상했다. 높은 곳에서의 인력 작업을 대신하는 건물 외벽 도장공사 전용 로봇을 이용해 추락재해 위험성을 줄이고 생산성과 품질을 높이는 아이디어다.
제안 부문 최우수상에는 현대제철의 상하 개폐형 안전펜스가 선정됐다. 상하 개폐형 안전펜스는 기존의 개폐형 및 탈부착형 안전펜스가 갖는 구조적 위험성을 개선한 것으로, 작업자의 추락재해를 예방하며 협소한 공간에도 설치가 용이하다.
이 밖에도 현대건설의 콘크리트 붕괴예방 및 작업자 안전확보를 위한 기술, 현대오토에버의 화재지점 기반의 지능형 화재경보 솔루션 등 여러 참신한 아이디어가 수상의 영예를 안았다.
이번 아이디어 공모전 수상작들은 효과성 검증을 거친 후 각사 사업장에 적용되고, 일부 아이디어는 다른 그룹사 사업장에도 적용될 예정이다.
실제 지난 1∙2회 공모전 수상작들은 현재까지 약 70개 작업장에 적용됐으며, 12건의 아이디어는 다른 그룹사 현장에도 적용되는 등 사업장 안전 향상에 크게 기여하고 있다.
김걸 사장은 “안전한 사업장 조성을 위해 임직원들이 참신한 아이디어를 적극 제시해 주셔서 감사하다”며 “안전 향상에 도움이 되는 아이디어들을 현장에 활발히 적용해 그룹 내 모든 사업장이 중대재해를 근절할 수 있도록 힘써 달라”고 당부했다.
