브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= GC녹십자는 인도네시아 자카르타 인근 자바베카 산업단지(Jababeka Industrial Estate)에서 자사가 추진하고 있는 혈액제제 플랜트 착공식에 참석했다고 6일 밝혔다.
올 6월 GC녹십자가 플랜트 건설 사업권을 획득한 지 약 6개월 만으로, 한국 및 인도네시아 정부의 적극적인 지원 속에 신속하게 착공에 이르렀다. 인도네시아 최초의 혈액제제 공장 착공이다.

신규 공장은 인도네시아의 수도 자카르타에서 동쪽으로 약 35km 떨어진 자바베카 산업단지 내 대지면적 4만㎡ 위에 세워진다. 연간 최대 40만 리터의 원료 혈장을 처리할 수 있는 규모의 부지로, 2027년 가동을 목표로 하고 있다.
인도네시아 정부의 적극적 관심으로 추진된 이번 착공식은 100% 수입에 의존해온 국가필수의약품인 혈액제제의 현지 생산을 알리는 신호탄인 만큼, 다수의 정부 관계자들이 참여해 지지를 나타냈다.
