-이 캠페인을 시작하게 된 동기는 무엇인가?
▲사실 마약퇴치 캠페인은 지금 시작한 게 아니고 약 10여년간 꾸준히 진행되어 왔다. 하지만 사회적으로 조명이 되지 않아 관심이 없었는데 최근 많은 언론 기사를 통해 많은 분들이 관심을 가지게 됐다. 특히 중-고등학생까지 마약의 영향을 받는 현실을 볼 때 누군가는 나서서 마약의 심각성을 이야기하며 마약 없는 깨끗한 대한민국을 만들어야겠다는 생각에 시작하게 됐다.
-주로 어떤 내용으로 캠페인을 하는가?
▲마약퇴치 관련 여러 비영리 단체가 있는데 그 단체들을 통해 자료를 구했고, 사진 전시나 영상물 상영, 그리고 자신을 사랑하는 글 남기기 등의 프로그램을 진행하고 있다. 특히, 나에게 쓰는 글을 통해 한번 더 자신을 지킬 수 있는 마음가짐을 가지게 되기도 한다. 그리고 마약을 접한적이 있거나 그런 위험이 있는 사람들에게는 전문 상담사를 연결해서 문제를 해결할수 있도록 하고 있다.
-앞으로의 활동계획은?
▲현재는 분기별로 캠페인을 하고 있지만 사회적 관심도 커지고 있고, 마약이 일상에 깊숙이 침투하는 점을 생각해서 한 달에 한번 캠페인을 하려고 하고 있다. 또 실제 마약을 복용하고 나서 치료를 했던 분들의 이야기를 통해 마약의 위험성을 실감나게 전하려 하고 있다.
기독교복음선교회 부산지부는 이외에도 가짜뉴스 근절을 위한 백만 탄원서 서명운동과 마을 벽화봉사, 그리고 사회복지시설을 방문해 케이크 전달 및 공연 봉사를 하는 등 다양한 봉사활동을 하고 있다고 전했다.
