브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= bhc그룹의 대학생 봉사단체 해바라기 봉사단이 지난 6일 서울시 동작구 대방종합사회복지관에서 주관하는 ‘2023 김장김치 지원 모금 캠페인’에 직접 참여해 이웃 사랑 실천을 위한 김장 나눔을 진행했다.
이번 활동은 취약계층 겨울나기를 지원하면서 나눔 문화 확산에 기여하고자 마련됐다.
이날 해바라기 봉사단은 사전 주문한 절임 배추를 양념하고 버무리면서 20kg의 김장 김치를 담갔다. 이후 현장에서 만든 김치를 직접 포장해 동작구 영구임대 아파트 내 위치한 대방종합사회복지관에 전달했다. 봉사단이 마련한 김장김치는 복지단체를 통해 관내 취약계층 어르신 가정 등에 전달된다.
bhc그룹 관계자는 “힘든 시기에 소외된 취약계층이 이중고를 겪지 않도록 애써준 봉사단이 이번 나눔을 통해 우리 사회에 공동체 의식의 중요성을 널리 확산해 줄 것이라 생각한다”며 “bhc그룹은 해바라기 봉사단원들의 다양한 봉사활동을 통해 나눔과 상생이라는 사회적 가치를 보다 널리 전파할 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않을 것이다”고 말했다.
