【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대 WISE캠퍼스 가정교육과는 14일 경주고등학교 학생들을 대상으로 지역연계 특성화사업의 일환인 ‘생애설계와 자립을 위한 융합전공 체험 진로교육 프로그램’을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이 프로그램은 동국대 가정교육과 재학생들이 경주고등학교 3학년 학생 198명을 대상으로 경제적 자립(청년자산관리), 일상생활 자립(주거복지와 정보), 정서적 자립(관계맺기와 경계세우기)에 대한 강의와 관련 활동을 진행했다.
이번 프로그램에 참여한 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 가정교육과 3학년 오예찬 학생은 “예비교사로서 경주지역 고등학생들의 진로교육 프로그램에 참여하여 매우 뜻깊었다. 특히 고등학교 졸업 후 새로운 출발을 준비하고 있는 학생들에게 자신의 생활을 주도적으로 계획할 수 있도록 도움을 준 것 같아 뿌듯했다.”라고 소감을 밝혔다.
프로그램을 지도한 주수언 동국대 가정교육과 학과장은 “이 프로그램을 통해 예비 교사들의 다학제적 역량이 강화되고, 지역 고등학생들의 생활역량이 향상되는 데 도움이 되었기를 바란다. 앞으로도 지역사회 교육 거버넌스 구축을 위해 경주지역에 특화된 고교연계 프로그램들을 발굴하고 운영해 나갈 것”이라고 말했다.
한편 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 가정교육과는 교내 특성화 사업의 일환인 '지역사회 융합돌봄 와이지언 양성사업단'에 선정돼, 지역사회와의 협력공동체 구축을 위한 다양한 프로그램을 실현하고 있다.
특히 다문화학생 인성교육 프로그램인 '내 마음에 붓-다', '글로벌 인재양성을 위한 한국-인도 글로컬 교류 프로그램', 보훈 가족을 위한 '리멤버 히어로즈'. '생태전환교육을 위한 메이커톤 경진대회', ‘청년소비자리더 아카데미’ 등 지역사회와 함께 다양한 프로그램을 진행하고 있다.

Dongguk University WISE Campus conducts major experience career education program

Su-eon Joo, head of the Department of Home Economics Education at Dongguk University, who guided the program, said, “I hope that this program will help strengthen the multidisciplinary capabilities of prospective teachers and improve the life skills of local high school students. “We will continue to discover and operate high school-related programs specialized in the Gyeongju region to establish community education governance,” he said.
Meanwhile, Dongguk University's WISE Campus Home Education Department was selected as a member of the 'Community Convergence Care Yizean Training Project', a part of the school's specialization project, and is implementing various programs to build a cooperative community with the local community.
In particular, 'Pour into My Heart', a character education program for multicultural students, 'Korea-India Glocal Exchange Program to cultivate global talent', and 'Remember Heroes' for veterans' families. We are conducting various programs with the local community, such as the ‘Makerthon Competition for Ecological Transformation Education’ and the ‘Youth Consumer Leader Academy’.
