브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 이랜드재단은 지난 18일 서울시 강서구에 위치한 강서가족센터에서 천사박스 전달식을 진행했다고 19일 밝혔다.
천사박스는 경제적·정서적으로 어려움이 있는 1004곳 가정에게 응원의 메시지를 담아 필요한 물품을 포장해 전달하는 이랜드그룹 대표 공헌활동이다.
이번 천사박스에는 이랜드그룹 오프라이스, 슈펜을 비롯해 외부 기업 본아이에프, IBR, 티읕과 국내 NGO 지파운데이션, 밀알복지재단 굿윌스토어가 후원에 동참하고, 이랜드리테일 임직원이 패킹 봉사활동을 진행했다.
천사박스는 생필품, 식품, 여성용품, 방한용품 등 나눔 패키지로 구성, 크리스마스 주간에 다문화 협력기관을 통해 1004곳의 다문화가정에 전달된다.
이랜드재단 이재욱 본부장은 “지속적으로 천사박스에 동참해주신 기업, 단체 관계자와 임직원 봉사자분들께 감사드린다”며 “천사박스 나눔은 여러 기업, 단체와 협력한 이랜드재단의 에브리즈 플랫폼 대표 사례로, 재단은 자원 공유와 연대를 통해 소외된 이웃의 필요를 돕고 있다”라고 말했다.
한편, 이랜드재단은 시즌 9을 맞이한 천사박스 캠페인을 통해 누적 9000여 명의 소외 이웃에게 약 23억원 상당의 물품을 지원했다.
