[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 낙동강권역 공동번영을 위해 2022년 10월 출범한 낙동강협의체 구성 6개 지자체가 지난해 12월 전담 사무인력과 예산을 갖춘 낙동강협의회로 전환하고 11일 부산광역시의회 대회의실에서 처음으로 ‘낙동강협의회 신년 공동 기자간담회’를 개최했다.
낙동강협의회는 2022년 10월, 김해시, 양산시, 부산 북구, 사상구, 강서구, 사하구 6개 지자체가 낙동강협의체(비법정협의회)로 출범해 낙동강 권역의 공동문제 해결 및 상생발전을 위해 다양한 공동협력사업을 추진해 왔다.
지난해 12월, 협의체는 지방자치법에 따른 ‘낙동강협의회(행정협의회)’로 전환하여 지역주민들의 요구에 체계적으로 대응하고, 조직의 공신력 및 공동협력사업 추진 동력을 더욱 강화시켰다.
