브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= KB국민은행은 웹툰 작가 키크니, 국토교통부, 주택도시보증공사와 함께 전세사기 피해예방 캠페인을 진행한다고 24일 밝혔다.
이번 캠페인은 공모를 통해 선정된 실제 사연을 바탕으로 진행된다. KB국민은행은 키크니 인스타그램 계정에 ‘전세사기피해 예방 캠페인, 키크니가 피해 방지를 위해 그립니다!’ 게시물을 등재해 사연 공모를 시작했다. 전세사기 유형 중 사각지대로 분류되는 다가구주택, 신탁등기, 근린생활시설 건축물과 관련된 피해 예방법도 소개할 예정이다.
키크니 작가는 인스타그램을 통해 주문 제작 만화를 연재하고 있는 일상 만화 작가이자 일러스트레이터다. 본명과 얼굴을 공개하지 않고 그림으로만 소통하는 작가이며, ‘무엇이든 사연을 그려드립니다’와 ‘으라차차 키크니 작명소’로 인기를 얻었다.
KB국민은행 관계자는 “전세사기 범죄는 계약 경험이 부족한 대학생이나 신혼부부, 사회초년생 등에게서 많이 발생하고 있다”며 “청년층에게 익숙한 웹툰을 활용하여 전세사기 예방에 도움이 되는 유용한 정보들을 쉽고 효과적으로 제공하겠다”고 전했다.
한편, KB국민은행은 지난 해 12월 국토교통부, 주택도시보증공사와 ‘전세사기 피해자 지원 및 피해 예방 업무협약’을 체결했다. 이를 통해 전세사기 피해자에 대한 실질적 지원과 상생금융 활성화를 위해‘KB 전세안심 프로그램’을 시행한다.
피해 구제를 위해 전세사기 피해자들에게 법률비용 및 경공매 대행 수수료를 지원하고, 주요 피해지역 6곳(서울, 경기, 인천, 부산, 대전, 대구)에 전세사기 전담 영업점을 운영할 예정이다.
