【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구 북구청(청장 배광식)이 주민 생활 불편을 해소하고 기업 활동을 저해하는 각종 불합리한 규제를 개선하기 위해 주민 참여형 아이디어 공모전에 나선다.

이번 공모전은 행정기관 중심의 공급자 시각에서 벗어나 주민들이 일상과 현장에서 직접 겪는 애로사항을 정책에 반영하기 위해 마련됐다.
공모 분야는 ▲출산·노인·장애인 등 시민복지 ▲교통·환경 등 일상생활 ▲소상공인 영업활동 등 일자리·경제 ▲신재생에너지 등 신산업 ▲기타 불합리한 법령 등 생활과 경제 전반을 아우르는 5개 분야다.
평소 생활 속에서 개선이 필요하다고 느낀 규제나 제도에 대해 국민 누구나 참여할 수 있다. 접수 기간은 4월 27일부터 5월 29일까지이며, 우편 또는 전자우편으로 신청하면 된다.
접수된 제안은 실현 가능성, 효과성, 창의성 등을 기준으로 1·2차 심사를 거쳐 7월 중 최종 수상작이 발표될 예정이다.
시상은 ▲최우수 1명(100만 원) ▲우수 2명(각 50만 원) ▲장려 3명(각 30만 원) ▲입선 5명(각 10만 원) 등 총 11명에게 340만 원의 상금과 구청장상이 수여된다.
배광식 북구청장은 “작은 아이디어 하나가 구민 삶을 바꾸는 큰 변화의 출발점이 될 수 있다”며 “현장의 불필요한 규제 장벽을 걷어내고 지역경제에 활력을 불어넣을 수 있도록 많은 분들의 관심과 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.

Daegu Buk-gu Office Holds Idea Contest for Improving Unreasonable Regulations
The Daegu Buk-gu Office (Mayor Bae Gwang-sik) is launching a resident-participatory idea contest to resolve inconveniences in residents' daily lives and improve various unreasonable regulations that hinder business activities.
This contest was organized to move away from a supplier-centric perspective focused on administrative agencies and to reflect the difficulties residents directly experience in their daily lives and on the ground into policy.
The contest covers five categories encompassing overall life and the economy: citizen welfare (including childbirth, the elderly, and the disabled); daily life (including transportation and the environment); employment and the economy (including small business operations); new industries (such as renewable energy); and other unreasonable laws.
Anyone can participate by submitting proposals regarding regulations or systems they feel need improvement in their daily lives. The application period runs from April 27 to May 29, and applications can be submitted via mail or email.
Submitted proposals will undergo first and second rounds of evaluation based on feasibility, effectiveness, and creativity, with the final winners scheduled to be announced in July. Awards totaling 3.4 million won in prize money and the District Mayor's Award will be presented to 11 winners, including one Grand Prize winner (1 million won), two Excellence Prize winners (500,000 won each), three Encouragement Prize winners (300,000 won each), and five Honorable Mention winners (100,000 won each).
Buk-gu District Mayor Bae Gwang-sik stated, "A single small idea can be the starting point for significant changes that transform the lives of district residents," adding, "I hope for the interest and participation of many people so that we can remove unnecessary regulatory barriers on the ground and breathe vitality into the local economy."
