【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 한울원자력본부(본부장 이세용, 이하 한울본부)는 설 명절을 맞아 5일 울진 바지게시장에서 ‘설맞이 복지시설 지원’전달식을 가졌다고 밝혔다.

한울본부는 복지시설에 지원하는 1500만원 상당의 농수특산물을 포함하여 북면, 죽변면 저소득가정 300세대에 오색 가래떡과 한과 세트를 담은 선물꾸러미를 본부 직원들이 직접 배달하며 따뜻한 명절의 정을 전했다.
8일에는 관내 북한이탈주민 30명과 자활센터 참여 근로자 20명에게도 명절 선물을 전달함으로써 사회정착의지를 북돋워 줄 예정이다.
이번 행사를 통해 지원되는 농수특산물과 가래떡, 한과세트는 지역 전통시장과 소상공인에게 구입한 것으로 지역 경제 활성화에 기여할 것으로 예상된다.
서정묵 평해노인요양원장은 “도움의 손길이 필요한 이웃에게 키다리아저씨가 되어 도움을 주시는 한울본부에 감사하다”라고 고마움을 표했다.
이세용 한울본부 본부장은 “설을 맞이하여 지역 이웃에게 도움을 줄 수 있어 기쁘다” 라며 “앞으로도 농수특산물 지원뿐만 아니라, 사회적 배려자를 위한 지원 사업을 계속 확대해나가겠다” 라고 전했다.
