브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 서울 강동구갑 현역 국회의원인 진선미 의원이 제 22대 국회의원 선거 출마 선언과 함께 지난 16일 강동구선거관리위원회에 예비후보 등록을 완료했다.
진선민 의원은 지난 2016년 강동구 갑 지역 국회의원에 당선된 후 지역구 내 최초 행정부 장관 , 국회 국토교통위원장 활동을 통한 전문성을 바탕으로 강동구의 세밀한 현안 사업의 추진과 국비 예산 확보 등 차별화된 성과를 내세우고 있다.
특히 9호선 4단계 착공 및 추가연장, 지하철 증차, 고덕비즈밸리 및 일반산업단지 조성, 학교 교육환경 개선, 암사역사공원 조성, 도서관 및 체육시설 조성을 비롯해 최근 GTX-D 강동 경유 계획까지 확정시키는데 일조했다.
또한 임기 중 총 4142억원의 강동발전 예산을 투입하여 강동의 가치를 높여냈다는 평가를 받고 있다.
진 의원은 이러한 성과를 바탕으로 앞으로 강남을 뛰어넘는 새로운 강동시대를 완성하겠다는 비전을 제시할 예정이다.
진 의원은 "강동주민 여러분께서 저와 함께 만들어주신 강동발전 기록을 바탕으로 한층 더 품격 높은 강동의 비전을 실력 있게 제시하겠다"며 "강동댁 국회의원 진선미의 최우선 목표인 ‘ 강남보다 강동 , 살기 좋은 강동 ’ 실현을 위해 우리 강동주민 여러분과 함께 진심과 열정으로 써낸 강동 발전 기록을 경신해 나갈 것이다"고 각오를 다졌다.
한편 진 의원은 강동갑 지역의 세대별, 분야별 전문가를 중심으로 한 선거대책위원회를 구성하고 내달 초 선거사무소 개소식을 거쳐 본격적인 선거 체제에 돌입할 계획이다.
