브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 신용보증기금이 제11기 혁신아이콘 선정을 위한 공개모집을 오는 3월 11일까지 진행한다.
‘혁신아이콘’은 신기술 또는 혁신적인 비즈니스 모델을 가진 스타트업이 차세대 유니콘 기업으로 성장할 수 있도록 지원하는 신보의 대표 스케일업(Scale-up) 프로그램이다.
창업 후 2년 이상 10년 이하의 신산업 영위기업 중 연 매출 5억원 이상이고 2개년 평균 매출성장률이 10% 이상인 기업 또는 기관투자자로부터 20억원 이상 투자를 유치한 기업이 대상이다. 이번 공모를 통해 신보는 5개 내외 기업을 혁신아이콘으로 선정할 예정이다.
최종 선정기업에게는 △3년간 최대 200억원의 신용보증 △최저보증료율(0.5%) 적용 △6개 협약은행을 통한 추가 금리인하 △해외진출, 각종 컨설팅, 홍보지원 등 다양한 금융ㆍ비금융 서비스가 제공된다.
특히, 신보는 지난 10기부터 우수 혁신기업의 고속 성장과 경쟁력 강화를 위해 보증지원 한도를 기존 150억원에서 200억원으로 대폭 확대했다.
2019년 프로그램 도입 이후 제1기부터 제10기까지 혁신아이콘으로 선정된 53개 기업에 총 6287억원의 신용보증한도가 제공됐다.
주요 혁신아이콘 기업으로는 ‘오늘의 집’을 운영하는 유니콘 스타트업 ‘버킷플레이스’를 비롯해, 코스닥시장에 상장한 ‘뷰노’, ‘크라우드웍스’, ‘퀄리타스반도체’ 등이 있다.
신보 관계자는 “혁신성장 분야를 영위하는 중소기업이 스케일업 프로그램을 통해 핵심 중견기업으로 발돋움할 수 있도록 아낌없이 지원하겠다”며 “혁신아이콘은 신보의 스타트업 지원제도 중 최고 단계의 지원 프로그램인 만큼 미래 신산업 분야를 선도할 혁신 스타트업들의 많은 관심과 신청을 바란다”고 말했다.
