거창군, 2023년 지역안전지수 생활안전분야 1등급 달성

[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 행정안전부가 공표한 2023년 지역안전지수 중 생활안전 분야에서 1등급을 달성했다고 21일 밝혔다.

행정안전부는 지역별, 분야별 안전수준과 안전의식 등 상대적인 안전 역량을 진단하고 이를 객관적으로 나타내는 지수인 ‘2023 전국 지역안전지수’를 공표했다.

지역안전지수는 2022년 통계 기준으로 △교통사고 △화재 △범죄 △생활안전 △자살 △감염병 6개 분야에 대한 지방자치단체의 안전 역량을 5등급으로 나눠 1등급은 10%, 2등급 25%, 3등급 30%, 4등급 25%, 5등급 10% 비율로 산정하며 1등급에 가까울수록 안전수준과 안전의식이 높다는 걸 의미한다.

거창군은 경남도 내 유일하게 생활안전 분야에서 1등급을 받았고 범죄, 생활안전, 자살 분야에서 등급이 상승되어 등급개선 분야 개수가 3개 이상으로 개선정도 우수지역으로도 선정됐다.
