여느 2월 하순의 날씨치고는 비교적 포근했던 지난 2월 28일 오후, 군포시청 본관 정문 앞에 20여 명의 시민들이 모여들자 “하은호 군포시장은 공개사과하고 즉각 사퇴하라”는 알림막이 펼쳐졌다.

이날 기자회견에서 제기된 의혹은 지역사업자 김 모 씨와 하시장 사이의 부적절한 금전거래 외에도 골프 라운딩 비용 대납, 업무시간 중 골프장 출입 및 해당 사업자를 자격에 걸맞지 않게 해외 사절단과 군포시 산하 도시공원위원회 위원으로 위촉했다는 점도 더해졌다.
