브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 더불어민주당 서울 강동구갑 현역 국회의원인 진선미 후보가 선거사무소 개소식을 개최했다.
진선미 후보는 지난달 16일 제 22대 국회의원 선거에 입후보했으며 지난 2일 명일역 인근 동부기술교육원 교차로에 위치한 선거사무소에서 강동지역 주요인사와 지지자들과 만나 함께 교감하는 소통형 개소식을 열었다.
105주년 3·1절을 맞아 추념행사로 시작한 개소식은 450 여명의 지역주민과 지지자들이 찾아 지역구 발전의 희망과 진선미 후보에 대한 격려의 인사를 나눴다.
진선미 후보는 환영사를 통해 강동구민의 힘 있는 지지 덕분에 많은 일을 해낼 수 있었다면서, 그 성과를 기반으로 더 품격있게 성장하는 강동의 내일을 그려낼 수 있도록 앞으로도 노력하겠다고 강조했다.
이날 개소식에는 이부영 비상시국회의 상임고문을 비롯해 민주당 우상호 전 원내대표, 유은혜 전 부총리 겸 교육부 장관, 박홍근 전 원내대표, 남인순 국회 정치개혁특별위원회 위원장, 이해식 강동구을 의원, 홍성국 의원 등 정치계 인사들이 방문해 진선미 후보를 응원했다.
또한 강동 관내 분야별 단체장 및 회원들이 대거 참여한 가운데서도 임종수 작곡가, 김응룡 전 야구감독, 이용 가수, 신성우 뮤지컬배우, 박상면 영화배우 등 문화예술스포츠 등 폭넓은 인사들도 참석해 자리를 빛냈다.
진선미 후보는 “혁신적인 강동발전 사업들에 대한 성공적 마무리가 필요하다는 의지를 갖고 강동시대를 완성하는 새로운 비전을 제시할 계획이다”며 “예비후보로서 선거기간 주민과의 교감과 경청의 일정을 이어가는 한편 현역 의원으로서 민생경제 현안 대응을 비롯한 의정활동으로 남은 임기도 허투루 쓰지 않을것이다” 고 의지를 밝혔다.
