세종시의회 전세사기 예방 대책 마련 및 피해지원을 위한 특별위원회’(이하 특위)는 6일 제2차 회의를 개최하고 본격활동에 들어갔다.
이날 특위는 2차 회의에서 위원들은 특위 활동 계획을 원안으로 채택했다.
이후 세종시의 전세사기 피해 상황을 파악해 피해 예방과 근절 대책을 마련하기 위한 집행부의 추진 상황을 청취했다.
김효숙 부위원장은 “부동산거래 상담제 실적이 17건으로 저조해 이에 대한 적극적인 홍보 방안 마련이 필요하다"며 "전세사기 피해자 긴급 주거용 주택 20호 마련에 따른 피해자 구제를 위한 구체적 제도 안내 등 시 차원의 적극적 대응과 역할도 절실한 시점”이라고 강조했다.
김영현 위원은 “전세사기 피해자가 대부분 40세 미만의 청년층이고 거래금액은 1억 초과 2억 미만이 대부분이다. 시의 어려움도 있겠지만 행정조치 등 적극적이고 다양한 방안을 마련해야 한다”고 말했다.
이현정 위원은 “피해자 구제를 위한 우리 시의 적극적인 개입과 노력을 당부하면서, 부산시 동래구 지원조례 등 타시도의 사례를 참고하여 보다 적극적인 행정을 해야 한다”고 밝혔다.
김재형 위원장은 “긴급주거지원에 관한 단순한 정보 전달이나 안내가 아닌 피해자 입장에서 한 번 더 생각한 구체적 홍보와 안내가 필요하다”며 “부동산안심거래제 활성화를 위해 상담자들의 근무환경을 조성해 제대로 된 상담이 이루어지고 제도가 그 역할을 할 수 있도록 노력해야 한다”고 말했다.
앞으로 특위는 전세사기 피해자와 전문가 집단, 집행부 관계 공무원이 참석하는 간담회를 통해 피해자 구제와 피해 예방을 위한 노력을 전개할 방침이다.
한편, 전세사기 예방 대책특위는 김재형 위원장, 김효숙 부위원장을 비롯해 의원 총 5명으로 구성돼 있으며 2024년 6월 30일까지 활동할 계획이다.
