대통령리더십연구원측(원장=최진 박사)은 보도자료에서 “한국정치의 미래를 판가름할 4.10 총선을 앞두고 국내 최고 전문가들과 함께 ‘중도층의 표심과 총선 향방’에 대해 특별세미나 및 토론회를 개최한다. 이번 총선의 최대 변수로 소리 없이 돌풍을 몰고 올 중도층의 향방이야말로 양극단 정치와 증오정치, 이념정치를 배제하여 국민대화합을 위한 중도정치로 가는 지름길일 것이다. 이번 세미나에서는 최근 한국사회 전반에 몰아치고 있는 7대 변화와 함께 중도층의 특징과 중도돌풍, 국민의힘-민주당-제3지대의 중도정치, 세계적인 중도정당-정치에 대해 발표-토론하고 실질적인 대안을 제시 한다”고 알렸다.
