브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= KB국민은행이 지속가능한 사회를 위한 상생금융 실천의 일환으로 新산업 스타트업을 발굴·육성하는 ‘KB 유니콘 클럽’ 4기를 모집한다.
2021년부터 시작된 ‘KB 유니콘 클럽’은 혁신기술 기반 스타트업을 위한 성장 지원 프로그램이다. 참가 스타트업은 전문가 멘토링부터 사무공간 무상 제공, 투자 연계 등 다방면의 지원을 받을 수 있다.
이번 모집대상은 △초격차 △핀테크 △콘텐츠 등 미래 유망기술 분야 아이템을 보유한 창업기업이다. 지난해까지 ‘3년차 이하’ 스타트업을 대상으로 모집했으나 올해부터 업력 조건을 제외해 대상 범위를 확대했다.
‘KB 유니콘 클럽’에 선정된 스타트업 10개사에게는 4월부터 12월까지 △경기창조경제혁신센터 투자 검토 △외부 투자자 연계 △전문가 심화 멘토링 △경기도 판교 내 사무공간 무상 제공 △홍보 △우수기업 대상 맞춤형 액셀러레이팅 지원 등 유니콘 기업으로 성장할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다.
모집기간은 4월 16일까지로, 참가 신청은 경기창조경제혁신센터 홈페이지에서 가능하다.
KB국민은행 관계자는 “미래 유니콘 기업으로 성장할 열정과 잠재력을 갖춘 스타트업들의 많은 관심과 참여를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 스타트업 육성을 꾸준히 지원하며 지역경제 성장에 기여하고 기업의 사회적 책임을 적극 이행해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
