【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 한울원자력본부(본부장 이세용, 이하 한울본부)는 회사 창립주간을 맞아 관내 소외계층 물품 전달, 사랑의 헌혈 행사 등 다양한 사회공헌활동을 펼쳤다고 26일 밝혔다.

지난 25일 울진군 가족센터에서 다문화가족 중고등학생 100명에게 5백만 원 상당의 학용품을, 모자보호시설 영신해밀홈 15세대에 3백만 원 상당의 생활용품세트를 전달했다.
26일에는 울진군 보훈회관에서 10개 국가유공자 단체에 1천만 원 상당의 울진바지게시장 농수산물을 구매해 지원했다.
앞서 한울본부는 19일 창립 23주년을 맞아 경북사회복지공동모금회에 이웃사랑 행복나눔 기부금 9억 7천2백만 원을 전달했고한울본부 재능봉사동아리 헤어스케치봉사단은 울진실버학교, 평해노인요양원어르신 70여 명에게 미용봉사를 진행했다.
또한, 혈액부족 문제를 해소하고자 한울본부와 협력사 직원 대상 ‘노경합동 사랑의 헌혈행사’를 28일에 시행할 예정이다.
울진군안보연합회 주동근 회장은“회사 창립주간에 울진관내 소외된 국가유공자 가족을 위해 신경써주시는 한울본부에 감사하다”라며 고마움을 전했으며, 김진숙 울진군가족센터장 또한“올해도 따뜻한 정이 무엇인지를 몸소 보여주는 한울본부에 다문화가족을 대표해서 감사드린다”라고 말했다.
이세용 본부장은“사창립 23주년을 맞이하여 뜻깊은 사회공헌활동을 펼칠 수 있게 되어 기쁘게 생각하고, 올해도 지역사회의 동반자로서 상생의 공동체 실현을 위해 소외된 지역주민의 목소리를 들으려 노력하겠다”라고 답했다.
