한중도시우호협회는 3월29일 보도자료에서 “권기식 장이 최근 중국 최대 검색엔진인 바이두(百度) 인명사전에 등재됐다.”고 알렸다.
권기식 회장은 지난 3월6일 바이두바이커(百度百科) 인명록에 올랐다. 한국인이 바이두바이명록에 등재된 것은 매우 드문 일. 이는 권기식 회장이 지난 2016년 한중도시우호협회를 설립한 이후 한중우호도시포럼, 한중민간고위급포럼, 한중우호청년포럼 등 다양한 한중 교류에 앞장서 중국 언론의 집중적인 관심을 받았기 때문으로 보인다. 권기식 회장은 최근 서울 여의도에 한중경제협력센터를 설립해 본격적인 한중 경제협력에 나서고 있어 한중 경제계와 언론의 주목을 받고 있다.
