윤석열 대통령이 5일 "올해 일몰이 도래하는 '톤세제(선사들 영업이익 아닌 보유 선박 순 톤수·운항 일수 기반 과세 제도)'를 연장하고 5조5000억 규모 친환경 선박 금융을 국적 선사에 제공하겠다"고 밝혔다.
윤 대통령은 이날 오전 경남 창원시 진해구 부산항 신항에서 열린 '부산항 신항 7부두 개장식'에 참석해 기념사를 통해 "정치 시작 후 처음 부산을 방문했을 때 부·울·경 지역을 첨단산업이 뒷받침하는 세계 최고 해양도시로 만들겠다 약속드렸는데 드렸는데 오늘 그 첫걸음이 될 부산항 신항 7부두 개장을 축하한다"며 이같이 말했다.
