윤석열 대통령이 8일 "스타트업 청년의 끊임없는 도전·혁신·실패해도 다시 일어서는 기업가 정신이 경제 성장 핵심 동력이 되고 있다"며 "청년들 목소리가 국정 운영 기준"이라고 밝혔다.
윤 대통령은 이날 용산 대통령실에서 열린 벤처·스타트업계 청년 대표·임직원 초청 오찬 간담회에서 "소비자가전쇼(CES) 2024에서 혁신상을 받은 세계 362개 기업 중 150개 기업이 우리 기업"이라며 이같이 말했다.
그러면서 "뛰어난 역량을 갖춘 우리 벤처·스타트업이 잘돼야 글로벌 시장도 개척하고 좋은 일자리도 많이 만들 수 있다"고 강조했다.
이 자리는‘CES 2024’ 혁신상 수상 등 세계에서 인정받는 청년 스타트업을 격려하면서 지난해 8월 마련된 정부 '스타트업 코리아 종합대책' 추진 상황 점검차 마련됐다.
윤 대통령은 "스타트업이 직면한 전문가 법률지원·대기업 멘토링 등에 실질적 도움을 드리겠다"며 "뭣보다 벤처·스타트업 성장을 가로막는 규제를 확실하게 풀 것"이라고 말했다.
더불어 "창업 기업인들이 자신 분야에서 최고가 되는 꿈을 이룰 수 있도록 '기업 성장 사다리 종합대책'도 올 상반기 중 발표할 것"이라고 밝혔다.
