대통령실이 25일 윤석열 대통령과 이재명 더불어민주당 대표 간 영수회담 실무 준비 관련해 "의제에 제한 두지 않고 다양한 이야기를 나눌 수 있도록 사전 의제 조율·합의가 필요 없는 자유로운 형식 회담을 가능한 빠른 시일 내 하자고 제안했다"고 밝혔다.
홍철호 정무수석은 이날 오후 용산 대통령실 브리핑에서 "천준호 더불어민주당 대표 비서실장과 영수회담 2차 실무회동을 했다"며 "대통령과 야당 대표 만남은 시급한 민생 과제를 비롯 국정 관련 모든 이야기를 자유롭게 나눌 수 있는 자리여야 한다"며 이같이 전했다.
