세종시교육청이 관내 중고등학교 재학생들을 대상으로 개인형이동장치 안전교육에 나선다.
세종시교육청에 따르면 개인형 이동장치(Personal Mobility) 무면허 운행 근절 등 학생들의 안전의식 고취를 위해 오는 11월 1일까지 관내 13개 중·고등학교를 대상으로 ‘세종경찰청 자전거순찰팀과 함께하는 개인형 이동장치 안전교육’을 추진한다고 1일 밝혔다.
개인형 이동장치는 도로교통법 개정에 따라 16세 이상의 원동기 면허 소지자만 이용할 수 있다.

세종시교육청은 안전교육의 교육 효과를 높이기 위해 개인형 이동장치와 이륜차 불법 운행 현장을 직접 단속하는 세종경찰청 기동순찰대 자전거순찰팀과 협업하여 학생들을 대상으로 개인형 이동장치 안전교육을 마련했다.
