【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 한울원자력본부(본부장 이세용, 이하 한울본부)는 지난 9일 플라스틱 병뚜껑과 재활용 놀이키트‘도도리’10세트를 울진지역아동센터(부센터장 유경미)에 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이날 전달한 병뚜껑과 도도리는 일상생활에서 생활폐기물 재활용을 실천하고자 4월 15일부터 30일까지 한울에너지팜에서‘병뚜껑 업사이클링 이벤트’를 통해 수집된 것이다. 지역 주민과 함께 모은 병뚜껑으로 재활용과 기부를 할 수 있는 뜻깊은 행사가 되었다.
유경미 부센터장과 직원 일동은“평소 아이들과 다양한 제로 웨이스트 활동을 해왔는데 도도리를 통해 재활용 병뚜껑의 다양한 활용 방법도 알게 되었고, 이를 활용한 수업으로 아이들과 행복한 시간을 보낼 수 있었다”라며 감사 인사를 건넸다.
한울본부는 앞으로도 미래 세대와 상생할 수 있도록 친환경 활동과 관련한 다채로운 프로그램을 시행할 예정이다.

Hanul Headquarters delivers upcycling play kits to local children’s centers
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd.'s Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters (Director Lee Se-yong, hereinafter referred to as Hanul Headquarters) announced on the 9th that it had delivered 10 sets of plastic bottle caps and recycled play kit 'Dodori' to the Uljin Regional Children's Center (Deputy Center Director Kyung-mi Yoo).

Deputy center director Kyeong-mi Yoo and her staff said, “I have always been involved in various zero-waste activities with children, and through Dodori, I learned about various ways to use recycled bottle caps, and I was able to spend happy time with the children through classes using this.” He said and expressed his gratitude.
Hanul Headquarters plans to continue implementing various programs related to eco-friendly activities to ensure coexistence with future generations.
