세종지역 청년 목소리를 국가 정책에 반영하기 위한 간담회가 13일 열렸다.
세종시와 행정안전부와 이날 세종시청에서 ‘세종시-중앙부처 청년보좌역 간담회’를 갖고 정책 발굴에 나섰다.
간담회에는 최민호 시장을 비롯해 행정안전부·국토부·중소벤처기업부·농림축산식품부 청년보좌역, 행정안전부 2030자문단, 세종지역 청년활동가 등이 참석했다.
간담회에 앞서 최민호 시장은 인터뷰에서 세종시의 저출산 대책, 지역 대학의 가치와 활용방안, 문화·예술 향유 정책 등 세종시 주요 청년정책 등에 대해 설명했다.
특히 이닐 간담회에서는 청년보좌역, 2030자문단 등 청년이 대거 참여해 국정운영 참여에 대한 의견도 교환했다.
인터뷰에 이어 진행된 간담회에서는 ‘지역청년으로서의 삶’을 주제로 한 양태모 제4기 세종청년정책네트워크 회장의 발제와 지역 청년들의 청년정책 활성화 방안 등 다양한 의견을 청취했다.
특히 진행된 토론에서는 지역청년의 폭넓은 참여와 제안의 정책화를 통해 청년의 정책 효능감을 높이고, 지역사회로의 청년 유입을 적극 지원해야 한다는 주장이 제기돼 참석자들의 높은 지지를 얻었다.
최민호 시장은 “이번 간담회가 청년들이 미래를 꿈꾸는 다양한 정책을 발굴하는 계기가 되고 정부정책에 반영되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 청년의 목소리를 지속적으로 청취하고 이를 시정에 반영할 수 있도록 함께 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
