세종형 늘봄학교 성공적인 정착을 위한 간담회가 16일 열렸다.
세종시의회 교육안전위원회는 이날 유관기관 간담회를 갖고 방안 모색에 나섰다.
이날 간담회에는 교육안전위원회 위원들과 세종시청 및 세종시교육청 과장 등 관계 직원, 해밀초등학교 교장이 참석했다.
참석자들은 늘봄학교 시범 준비 현황과 계획, 시청 등 유관기관 협업체계 점검을 통해 향후 세종형 늘봄학교의 성공적 정착을 고민하고 논의하는 시간을 가졌다.
교육안전위원회 위원들은 세종시 특성과 저출산에 대비한 늘봄학교 정착 방안으로 ▲복컴의 방과후 공간 등 교육적 활용 ▲행복교육지원센터의 원스톱지원 기능 등 역할 재정립 등을 제안했다.
또 ▲지역돌봄기관 간 연계 강화 ▲출산장려와 연계한 늘봄학교 도입 ▲학교 밖 돌봄기관 급·간식 지원 ▲운영인력 처우개선 및 역량강화를 통한 저녁돌봄 운영의 내실화 ▲유관기관 간 협력·지원체계 구축 등을 주문했다.
안신일 위원장은 “오늘 간담회는 정부의 늘봄학교 추진에 따라 세종관내 해밀초등학교의 운영 사례를 점검하고 어려움은 없는지 살펴보는 의미 있는 시간이었다”며, “아이들 눈높이에 맞춰 방문하고 싶고 머물고 싶은 세종형 늘봄학교 모델을 만들자며, 이를 위해서 시청, 교육청 등 유관기관 간 적극 소통하고 협력해 주길 바란다”고 당부했다.
