브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대차그룹은 글로벌 오픈이노베이션 플랫폼 제로원(ZER01NE)이 오는 25일까지 파리 엑스포 드 베르사유에서 열리는 2024 Viva Technology 전시에 참여한다고 22일 밝혔다.
제로원은 미래사회와 모빌리티에 대한 담론을 이끌어가는 창의인재를 후원하고 국내외 유망 스타트업 및 사내 스타트업을 지원하고 있다.
VIVATECH는 매년 6월 프랑스 파리에서 개최되는 유럽을 대표하는 스타트업 기술 전시회로 2023년에는 약 2000개의 스타트업이 행사에 참가했다. 제로원은 이번 2024 VIVATECH 행사가 첫 참가다.
제로원은 2024 VIVATECH에서 “Seamless Post Human City(경계를 허문 미래도시)”를 주제로 전시 부스를 마련한다. 현대차그룹과 사업 및 기술 협력을 진행했던 △모빈 △바이오믹 △제드릭스 스타트업 3개와, 미래 도시환경 탐구 크리에이터 팀 아이브이에이에이아이유 시티(IVAAIU City)가 부스 내부에 전시관을 설치한다.
모빈은 2023년 3월 현대차그룹에서 분사한 사내벤처로 자율주행 배송 로봇 솔루션 스타트업이다. 자체 개발한 자율주행 배송 로봇을 통해 라스트마일(Last Mile·배송과정에서 소비자에게 가는 최종단계)에 특화된 서비스를 제공한다. 모빈이 개발한 배송 로봇은 이동 제약이 없어 향후 택배나 음식 배달, 순찰 등 다양한 방면에서 활용 가능하다.
바이오 소재 스타트업 바이오믹은 균사체 기반 친환경 복합소재 전문 스타트업으로 지속가능한 신소재를 자체 개발하고 제품화하는 불가리아의 혁신기술 기업이다. 특히, 버섯 균사체 등 생분해성 소재를 활용해 제품의 친환경성을 확보한 제품을 제공하는 등 미래 자동차 인테리어의 친환경성을 높인다.
전력거래 플랫폼 스타트업 제드릭스는 네덜란드 전기차·전력망 통합 시스템(VGI, Vehicle Grid Integration) 전문 스타트업으로 전기차 인프라를 확대하는 전력거래 플랫폼 스타트업이다. VGI 기술을 활용한 충전 제어로 전력망 안정화에 기여한다.
미래 도시환경 탐구 크리에이터 팀 아이브이에이에이아이유 시티(IVAAIU City)는 서울과 런던을 베이스로 활동하는 뉴미디어 크리에이터 그룹으로, 2021년도에 제로원 크리에이터로 선발되어 활동을 이어나가고 있다.
이번 전시에서는 제로원의 데이터 시각화 연구 프로젝트와 인간-로봇 공간 공존 프로젝트를 융합한 최신작을 선보인다. 보스턴 다이나믹스의 4족 보행 로봇 ‘스팟’(SPOT)을 활용해 파리 내 대기오염 및 정화 데이터를 측정하고 이를 시각화한 작품을 전시할 예정이다.
또한, 제로원은 2024 파리 올림픽 시즌에 맞춰 관람객들이 직접 현대차그룹의 양궁 지원 기술을 체험할 수 있는 스포츠 테크존을 운영한다. 관람객들은 실제 한국 양궁 국가대표팀의 연습에 적용되는 비전 기반 심박수 탐지 기술을 직접 경험해 볼 수 있다. 고정밀 슈팅 머신과 선수 맞춤형 그립, 점수 자동 기록장치 등 양궁 기술도 소개한다.
제로원 관계자는 “2024 VIVATECH를 통해 글로벌 스타트업과 협업 기반을 확대하고자 한다”며 “현대차그룹은 글로벌 인재 및 혁신 파트너사와 협력해 스타트업 생태계의 성장 촉진을 위해 노력해 나갈 것이다”고 말했다.
