[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 인도네시아 정계 주요 인사가 K-기업가정신을 배우기 위해 진주 K-기업가정신센터를 찾았다고 22일 밝혔다.
이번 인도네시아 주요 인사는 아이르랑가 하르타르토 인도네시아 경제조정부 장관, 로데베이크 파울루스 하원 부의장, 에디 프리오 팜부디 국제경제협력부 차관 등 43명이다.
이번 방문단은 산업통상자원부 장관, 현대자동차 그룹 회장 등 국내 정ㆍ재계 주요 인사들과 양국 간 경제협력을 논의하기 위해 내한했다.
이날 아이르랑가 하르타르토 장관 일행은 K-기업가정신의 발원지인 진주시 지수면을 방문해 진주 K-기업가정신센터 전시관을 둘러보고 조규일 진주시장과 간담을 가졌다.
아이르랑가 하르타르토 장관은 “인도네시아는 OECD 가입을 위한 공식 절차를 진행 중에 있다”며 “이러한 시점에 K-기업가정신의 발원지인 진주 방문은 큰 의미가 있다”고 전했다.
이어 하르타르토 장관은 “K-기업가정신을 배워 한국과 일본에 이어 아시아 세 번째이자 동남아시아 최초의 OECD 가입국이 되기를 바란다”고 덧붙였다.
조규일 시장은 “인도네시아의 OECD 가입을 응원하며 앞으로 진주시와 K-기업가정신 확산을 위한 협력관계를 지속해 나가길 바란다”고 말했다.
