충남 태안군은 27일 오후 8시부터 태안군 안전관리과 및 태안경찰서 범죄예방과 관계자 등 6명이 참여한 가운데 태안읍에서 ‘안전취약지역 내 안전시설물 현장점검’을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
이번 점검은 ‘태안군 안심귀가 환경조성에 관한 조례’에 따라 군민들이 안심하고 귀가할 수 있는 환경을 조성하기 위한 것으로, 이날 참여자들은 태안읍 내 원룸촌과 골목길 등 총 2.5km 구간을 돌며 주요 안전시설물의 설치·작동 여부를 확인하고 주민들의 안전을 도모했다.
