태안군, 태안군수 배 전국보치아선수권대회 성료

충남 태안군이 ‘제1회 태안군수배 전국보치아선수권대회’는 태안군과 대한장애인보치아연맹이 주최하고 충남장애인보치아연맹이 주관하며, 국내 보치아 선수를 발굴·육성하고 장애인체육의 활성화를 도모하기 위해 개최됐다.

올해 대회에는 전국 보치아 선수 143명과 임원 113명, 운영위원 및 심판 80명 등 총 330여 명이 태안을 찾았으며, 22일 개회식을 시작으로 남자 BC1~5등급 경기가 치러졌다.

대회 결과 △BC1 김도진(전북특별자치도보치아연맹) △BC2 서민규(안산시장애인체육회) △BC3 정호원·김승겸(강원특별자치도보치아연맹) △BC4 구영인(경기도장애인체육회) △BC5 구본희(경상남도보치아연맹) 선수가 각 등급별 1위를 차지하는 영예를 안았다.

지난해 대회에 이어 다시 한 번 태안을 방문했다는 한 선수는 “보치아가 일반인에겐 낯선 종목인데, 태안은 개최 경험이 많아 선수들이 편안한 분위기에서 경기를 치를 수 있었다”며 “선수들의 입장을 최대한 반영해 대회를 준비해 주신 태안군에 감사드린다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
