세종시가 29일 ‘제2회 특별자치시·도의회 자치분권 의정박람회’에서 세종 고향사랑기부제 홍보부스를 운영했다.
이날 의정박람회는 4개 특별자치시도의회 의원, 관계자 등 100여 명이 참가했다.
시는 홍보부스에서 제도 도입 취지와 참여 방법 등을 안내하고 세종시 답례품을 한눈에 볼 수 있도록 전시해 참석자들의 눈길을 잡았다.
또 박람회 참석자 중 세종 고향사랑기부제에 참여한 사람에게 전시된 답례품을 추가로 제공하는 이벤트를 열어 현장에서 기부 참여를 유도했다.
강준식 시민소통과장은 “세종을 위한 기부자들의 작은 마음들이 모여 우리 시 발전을 위한 밑거름이 된다”며 “많은 사람이 고향사랑기부제에 대해 이해하고 참여할 수 있도록 꾸준히 홍보활동을 펼치겠다”고 말했다.
한편 , ‘고향사랑 기부제’는 건전한 기부문화를 조성하고 지역경제 활성화를 도모하기 위해 지난해 1월 1일부터 시행하고 있으며 고향사랑이(e)음과 농협을 통해 기부할 수 있다.
기부금 한도는 개인당 연간 500만 원으로 기부금액의 30% 범위 내 답례품을 제공받을 수 있다. 기부액 10만 원 이하는 전액 세액공제의 혜택이 주어진다.
