[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 조규일 진주시장은 세계 최대 규모로 공사 중인‘호탄동 상용차용 수소충전소 구축’현장을 방문해 공사 관계자들을 격려하고 사업 현장을 점검했다.
이번에 수소충전소는 지난 2022년 환경부 상용차용 수소충전소 구축 공모사업에 선정돼 총 80억원을 투자해 호탄동 화물차 공영차고지에 오는 8월에 준공 예정이다.
이번 수소충전소는 시간당 300kg의 수소를 충전할 수 있는 세계최대 규모인 대용량 충전소로서 도심지에서 주로 볼 수 있는 25kg급 충전소 대비 12배 큰 규모이다.
이는 수소 버스 시간당 15대, 수소 승용차 시간당 60대 충전이 가능하다.
시는 지난 2021년 판문동에 서부경남 1호 수소충전소를 건립한 이후, 오는 8월 호탄동 상용차용 수소충전소가 준공되며 오는 12월 문산휴게소 수소충전소가 준공될 예정이다.
또 진주시는 환경부 공모사업에 집현 시내버스 공영차고지 액화수소 충전소 구축사업이 선정돼 총 150억원을 투자해 오는 2025년 12월에 준공될 계획이다.
