브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 유한양행은 지난 29일 대방동 소재 본사에서 미혼모 지원을 위해 ‘엘레나’와 함께하는 슈퍼우먼 키트 제작 봉사활동을 실시했다고 30일 밝혔다.
‘슈퍼우먼 키트’는 저출산 문제가 심각한 사회문제로 대두되고 있는 가운데, 경제적인 어려움과 사회의 부정적인 시선을 이겨내고 아이를 혼자 낳아 키우는 미혼모를 지원하는 키트로 유한양행 엘레나와 와이즈바이옴프로 덴마크 프리미엄 유산균 등을 비롯, 타 기업이 기부한 생리대, 여성 화장품, 생활용품 등 다양한 여성 제품으로 구성됐다.
임직원 44명이 참여해 제작한 슈퍼우먼키트 300개는 협력 기관인 지파운데이션을 통해 미혼모 시설과 미혼 한부모 가정에 전달될 예정이다.
한편, 유한양행은 여성 질건강 프리미엄 유산균 ‘엘레나’를 통해 모든 여성이 아름다운 자신을 만나고 더 건강한 내일을 만들 수 있도록 노력하고 있으며, 그 노력의 일환으로 작년부터 미혼모와 저소득 가정 여성 청소년을 위해 엘레나를 지속적으로 기부하고 있다.
