충남 서산시가 재난응급의료 대응체계 강화에 총력을 기울인다.
이를 위해 서산시는 11일 시청에서 재난응급의료 대응체계 강화에 대한 브리핑을 열어 시민의 생명을 보호하기 위한 시책을 설명했다고 밝혔다.
서산시는 대규모 재난 발생에 대비하기 위해 보건소 본소 전 직원 92명으로 비상의료대응단을 구성했으며, 본소 전 직원으로 비상의료대응단을 구성한 것은 충청남도 내에서 유일하다.
대응단은 행정지원반, 분류반, 응급처치반, 이송반, 의료기관 파견반 등 5개 반으로 편성됐으며, 반별 역량 강화를 위해 담당자의 업무분장을 체계화하고 비상 연락망을 구축했다.
또한 화재·폭발 등의 재난현장 대응훈련과 다수사상자 발생 대비 도상훈련으로 응급상황 대비 신속 대응력을 키웠다.
시에 따르면 심정지 환자에 대해 심폐소생술을 한 경우는 하지 못한 경우에 비해 생존율이 2.4배, 뇌 기능 회복률이 4배로 오른다.
시는 매월 마지막 주 화요일 보건소 중회의실에서 심폐소생술 정기 체험장을 운영하고 기관·단체·학생을 대상으로 찾아가는 심폐소생술 교육을 추진하고 있다.
