충남 서산시가 15개 읍면동 이·통장단을 대상으로 중대재해예방 순회 교육을 추진한다고 12일 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 중대재해처벌법이 1월 27일부터 5인 이상 사업장부터 확대 적용됨에 따라, 농업과 제조업 등 영세 사업장에 발생할 수 있는 중대재해를 예방하기 위해 마련됐다.
특히 농업은 실외 활동 중심의 노동집약적 산업으로, 농작업 및 농기계 사고와 직업성 질환 등으로 매년 재해자가 증가해 중대재해 예방에 대한 관심과 노력이 필요하다.
서산시는 12일 음암면 행정복지센터에서 이장단 30명을 대상으로 찾아가는 중대재해예방 교육을 진행했으며, 11월까지 15개 읍면동 이·통장단의 교육을 마무리할 계획이다.
교육은 고용노동부 서산출장소와 연계해 △중대재해처벌법의 이해 △안전보건관리체계 △사고 사례 및 예방 대책 등의 과정으로 진행되며, 중대재해예방 캠페인도 함께 추진된다.
