안병일 학교청소년단체연합회 회장이 청소년 건전 육성과 학교 청소년단체발전을 위한 업무수행을 성공적으로 마무리하고 지난 5월28일 이임했다.
안병일 회장은 6월17일자 보도자료에서 이임사 내용을 전했다.

안병일 회장은 이임사에서 “우리 청소년들이 올바른 인성과 사회성 등을 갖춰 미래 사회의 초석이 될 수 있도록 사회 구성원 모두가 따뜻한 가슴으로 함께 도와줘야 한다”고 피력했다.
특히, “기성세대가 청소년들에게 삶을 살아가는 방향과 가치관을 정립시켜줌으로써 그들이 성인으로 성장해 꽃망울을 터트릴 즈음이면 그들만의 꿈과 야망이 가득한 눈부신 장래를 기대할 수 있다”고 강조했다.
안병일 회장은 건전한 청소년 육성을 위해 한평생 매진하였을 뿐만 아니라 서울대 한국행정연구소 특별연구원, 명지대학교 객원교수, 글로벌사이버대학교에서 10여 년간 겸임교수로 재직(청소년 문제, 청소년활동 등)하면서 명실상부한 청소년지도자 양성 등에도 주력해 왔다.
아울러 안 회장은 청소년운동의 사회적, 교육적 가치실현을 위하여 30여 년간 헌신해 왔으며 국내 최초로 청소년 글로벌 거버넌스 구현과 청소년 융합교육을 시도하여 국가경쟁력과 인류평화에 기여할 수 있는 기틀의 장을 마련해 왔다는 평가를 받아 왔다.
한편 안 회장은 충남 홍성고를 거쳐 명지대학교에서 행정학박사학위를 취득하였으며 한국스카우트연맹 사무총장, 국회스카우트의원연맹 사무총장, 한국청소년단체협의회 이사, 한국청소년NGO학회장 등으로 활동한 청소년 NGO전문가다.
학교청소년단체연합회는 한국걸스카우트연맹, 한국스카우트연맹, 한국청소년연맹, 한국해양소년단연맹, 대한적십자사청소년적십자 등 청소년단체로 구성돼 있으며 후임 회장엔 이상익 한국청소년연맹 사무총장이 선임됐다.
