[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 시청 2층 시민홀에서 진주 M2페스티벌, 진주남강유등축제 등 ‘2024 진주시 여름·가을 축제 개최 계획 보고회’를 가졌다고 19일 밝혔다.
이날 보고회에는 조규일 진주시장과 축제위원회 위원 15명, 축제 관계자가 참석해 10월 축제의 추진방향 및 주요내용 등에 관해 보고하고, 성공적인 개최 방안에 대한 의견을 나눴다.
진주시의 대표적 여름 축제인‘진주 M2페스티벌’은 오는 8월 9일과 10일 양일간 망경동 남강둔치에서 개최되며, 국가유산 미디어아트 진주성 사업과 연계해 수상음악공연이 진행된다.
국가유산 미디어아트 진주성은 오는 8월 2일부터 25일까지 진주성 일원에서 진행, 오는 8월 15일부터 17일은 진주문화유산 야행 ‘야(夜)단법석, 진주성도 달마중이 제공될 예정이다.
또 오는 10월 축제는 진주남강유등축제가 오는 10월 5일부터20일, 개천예술제는 오는 10월 10일부터 20일까지, 코리아드라마페스티벌이 오는 10월 11일부터 20일까지 개최된다.
특히 개천예술제 풍물시장과 코리아드라마페스티벌 푸드존은 먹거리, 즐길거리를 위해 진주남강유등축제 첫날인 10월 5일부터 운영된다.
