[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군 최초의 청년거점공간인 거창청년사이가 작년 7월 5일 정식 개관한 후 1주년을 맞았다.
그동안 공연, 소모임, 다이닝 등 그간 청년네트워크 활동 중심의 수요자 맞춤 공간으로 이용도가 증가하면서 명실상부한 청년거점공간으로 자리매김했으며 지역 활력소 역할을 하고 있다.
청년사이는 231㎡ 규모로 공유공간, 공유주방, 쉼터, 아이돌봄영역 공간과 야외공연이 가능한 테라스도 마련되어 있다.
독립적이고 이색적인 공간적 특성으로 다양한 청년 모임뿐만 아니라 일반적 공연 장소 등으로 활용돼 청년과 일반 군민들에게 큰 인기를 얻고 있다.
상반기 이용객은 1,900여명으로 전년 대비 125%, 대관은 120회로 255% 증가했다.
청년을 대상으로 다양한 프로그램도 운영중이다.
지난 3월 청년을 대상으로 시행한 프로그램 수요조사 결과를 반영해 ‘청춘수업’, ‘청춘특강’, ‘청춘문화놀이터’ 3색 프로그램을 진행하고 있으며 중앙청년센터 지역특화 공모사업에 선정되어 하반기에는 미혼 청년을 대상으로 썸데이 행사를 작년보다 더 확대해 진행할 계획이다.
구인모 거창군수는 “민선 7기부터 청년정책을 추진해 다양한 맞춤형 청년정책 시행과 함께 청년사이를 개관하게 됐으며 청년이 소통하고 만나고 배우고 즐거움이 가득한 꿈을 키우는 공간이 됐다”며 “청년 3대 공약 청년창업지원센터, 청년임대주택, 청년도약금을 추진해 청년이 살기 좋은 거창을 만들어 나가겠다”고 말했다.
